Kaley in New York City - Part 1
So I am going to make this amazing session with Kaley a four part series because it was a very special Quince Session we did in New York City. Having travelled all over the world doing photo sessions and being from New York both Lily and I, it was a big advantage both planning the details of the two day session and the logistics. I have to give Lily most of the credit as she planned every detail from travel and lodging, to location scouting, getting around in the city and of course her specialty styling the wardrobe and accessories. I had the easy part, photographing our gorgeous Quinceanera Kaley.
Finding a local makeup artist willing to work with our schedule didn't work out, so we brought Maily (@beautybymaily_inc) from Miami with us, who was fantastic working over sixteen hours the first day. Also kudos to my amazing daughter, Lely Michelle who was instrumental in making everything work like clockwork.
This first part was Kaley's Breakfast at Tiffany's Theme. The weather was perfect that day and as you can see Kaley takes a great picture. After Tiffany's we got some great shots on Fifth Avenue. We even made ourselves part of a movie being made that morning. The taxi driver in the picture is actually an actor. We helped ourselves on to a movie set. Later we grabbed some great pictures at locations like Rockefeller Center, St Patrick's Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall and The Tonight Show. Kaley had no problem dodging traffic in New York City as we took several pictures in the middle of the street. Of course there were plenty of folks asking what the pictures were for and of course we let them know Kaley is an agency model shooting for a Los Angeles based fashion magazine. Just a little white lie..LOL
